I had hit upon this beautiful idea to buy a few dollars of flowers a few times a week, instead of buying a bunch at a time, which could cost about 20 dollars but would only last a week. Then the other day, I found this branch of camelia with lots of buds at a not-so-fancy flower shop in the neighborhood.

Camelia is one of my most favorite flowers. It may not be a popular choice among all the flowers in the world, but, don’t you love trees with lots of flowers?
My favorite kind is ones with many layers of petals in pale colors (not the dark red kind that looks like a murder scene when flowers starts to fall).

I am trying to get back to my normal routine. After the new issue release (it seems people liked it – thank you!), I’ve caught cold. I am feeling restless, feeling like my body is here but my mind is somewhere floating in the sky.

So I bought this Calligraphy starter kit from Etsy. There is no deep thinking behind it. I just got curious and wanted to try.  (It is a lovely kit, by the way, very thoughtfully packaged.)

I admit that I don’t cook often enough to be imaginative, but I know how to bake.   Sometimes people ask me how I find time to bake, but it really does not take that much time.

All you need to do is to put everything in one bowl, measuring at the same time, in the right order (I am sure most people who bake do that, to make things easy)… mix it up and put it in the oven.

And, I’ve been knitting (gifts to friends, meaning, deadlines), and watching movies on my Macbook.  I needed some time off this weekend.

Hope you’ve got plenty of rest yourself.
