It’s really insane that I took the past weekend off and spent 3 days in the woods. And it was raining all the time.
In fact, both Tokuko and I took the weekend off, which is pretty incredible considering the next issue of amirisu will be released very very soon.
A friend of mine told me that a lot of people have died climbing Himalayas, just a few hours away from the peak. The finishing path is the deadliest.
I am at just a few tasks away from completing the issue, remembering the Himalayas story.

考えてみれば、amirisuリリース直前にして３日間那須に行っているとは、かなり博打的な感じでした。その間ずっと雨で、緑がしっとり潤い、沢山のハーブが蒸せるように香り、温泉につかり、知的刺激を沢山受けて帰ってきました。
実際トクコさんも週末オフで、こんなこと去年の私たちには考えられないことだったな、と感慨深くなるのでした。
友人が良くする話で、ヒマラヤの最後の数時間で死亡事故がとても多い、というエピソードがあり。ラストスパートをしつつ、なぜかその話を思い出しています。
終わったらそのまま、岐阜県の石徹白に行ってきます。新幹線で好きな本を読むのが楽しみです。編み物も、もちろん。あとちょっと！
